Setup e-mail on iOS with the Outlook app

To complete the setup you may be asked for the following information:

e-mail address = full email address
Username or Domain\username = full email address
Domain = Leave blank
Password = regular email password
Server or Exchange server = mail1.peerlessnet.com

Open Outlook for iOS. The icon looks like this:

If you don’t have it yet, download it from the Apple Store.

Open the collapsed menu in the upper left corner.

NOTE: First time using Outlook for iOS? Just tap Get Started.

Tap to open the collapsable menu in the corner

Tap Settings Outlook app settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.

Tap Add Account

Type your full email address, then tap Add Account.

At this point it may detect you have used this email with Microsoft before and attempt to connect it to an outlook.com account.  If not continue to next section.

If so click Not Outlook.com in the top right corner.

Click change Account Provider

Select Exchange

Enter your email account password and tap Sign In.

It should detect your settings and connect to your account.  you can continue to the next section.

If it will not connect properly your private domain name may not be setup to automatically detect its settings. if so tap on Use Advanced Settings and enter mail1.peerlessnet.com in the server box and your full e-mail address in the Username box and tap Sign in again.

Tap Yes or Allow to give Outlook permission to sync calendar, contacts, etc.

Allow permissions.

Swipe through the intro and you’re now ready to use Outlook for iOS!
